Very sweet and melt in mouth traditional Indian cookies made from Chickpea Flour/Gram flour is a great snacking option. These cookies can be stored in airtight container for 2 weeks or more. You can adjust the amount on sugar and ghee as per your preferences. And if you don’t like cardamome flavour you can use any of the essence of your choice.
1 kg Chickpea Flour
500 gm Powdered Sugar
750 gm Ghee (at room temperature)
1 tsp Salt,
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Cardamom Powder
1 tsp each of chopped almonds and pistachios
1. Preheat oven at 200 degrees.
2. Mix all the ingredients and make a balls.
3. Take ball in between 2 sheets of cling film and roll 1/4″ thick. Cut cookies with cookie cutter. (You can skip this step simply make balls with your hands and flatten them.)
4. Place some almonds and pistachios at the top and bake at 180 degree for 12-15 minutes.
